Student Life

Opportunities for academic, athletic, cultural and social activities are provided to prepare students for a changing and competitive world. A chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recognizes seventh and eighth grade students who possess the characteristics of leadership, service, citizenship, character, and an overall academic average of ninety-five percent (95%). Students develop leadership qualities through membership on the Student Council. Kindergarten through eighth grade students participate in age-appropriate school athletic teams: baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross-country, soccer, softball, and volleyball. School dances and club activities (Altar Servers, Bell Choir, Children’s Choir, Drama, Religion Service, SDS News, Yearbook, and Young Scientist) are offered for student interaction.
