Congratulations to the St. Dominic's Scholastic Bowl Team! They placed first at the Sixteenth Annual St. Rose High School Invitational Scholastic Bowl in Belmar, NJ, on October 22, 2019.

The event was attended by 6 local elementary schools with over 45 students being tested. Team members included Megan Ebinger, Caroline Felser, Tony Freay, Brian McKeon, Joseph Miller, Julie Minarick, Daniel Nguyen, and Thomas Schneider. Team members tested in one subject area: Current Events, Geography, English, Math, Religion, Science, Social Studies, and Spelling. Special congratulations are extended to Brian McKeon for placing first in Religion, and to Thomas Schneider for placing first in Math. They each received a $1000 tuition credit at St. Rose High School. In addition, the team won a $2000 tuition credit at St. Rose High School for placing first!

The students were wonderful representatives of Saint Dominic School, and they are to be congratulated for their efforts. We also extend a special thank you to their parents for their support and enthusiasm. We are so proud of the team, and we look forward to next year's competition!
